Chemist Warehouse opens first store in Dubai, stocked with Australian products
Australian company Chemist Warehouse has opened its first store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the retailer's latest foray overseas.
The store at the Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai is 1000 square metres with pharmacy dispensary services and a range of leading Australian brands alongside local product offerings.
The new addition joins more than 530 Australian stores, 53 New Zealand stores, 12 China stores and 11 Ireland stores.

The store will offer health, wellness, beauty, baby, cosmetics and fragrance products.
There will also be a luxe shopping option with high- end fragrances and cosmetics in stock.
"We are proud to have officially landed in Dubai this week and celebrate our first store opening within the United Arab Emirates," Chemist Warehouse director Mario Tascone said.
"We are committed to providing our UAE customers with an immersive and informative, hands-on shopping experience delivering a wide range of high-quality product at an affordable price point.
"With a 'one stop shop' model and larger retail format, we are excited to welcome customers into our first store in the country."
Tascone said the company is due to open its second store in the country in several weeks.
