Man 'shot in hip while he slept' in NSW
A 33-year-old man said intruders burst into his home and shot him in the hip on the NSW Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to the house on Mountain View Drive, Woongarrah, at 3.30am after neighbours reported hearing a gunshot.
Police found the resident with a gunshot wound to his right hip.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Police were told he was asleep when two intruders shot him before fleeing.
