CCTV captures truck rollover on busy Sydney road

Security cameras have caught the moment a semi-trailer rolled onto a footpath in Sydney’s west.

The truck was travelling along busy Parramatta Road at Clyde, when it toppled over at around 11.40am.

The driver was initially trapped in the vehicle but was able to free himself before paramedics arrived.

He escaped injury in the crash.

Two westbound lanes were forced to be shut and one remains closed.

There are extensive delays in the area and the truck is set to be righted later tonight.
