Delays continue after cattle train smashes into stolen car in Landsborough

A empty cattle train has crashed into a stolen car in Landsborough on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, causing extended train delays.
The train pushed the car about 100 metres along the tracks, leaving a trail of debris on the rail route at Landsborough just before 5am (AEST) today.
There were no reports of injuries.
Police say the vehicle was unoccupied and had been previously stolen from Landsborough.
They are investigating how it came to be on the tracks.
Services are suspended between Nambour and Caboolture, with buses arranged instead and commuters are being warned to allow for delays of up to an hour.
