Car fire causes traffic mayhem on Sydney road

A car fire has forced the closure of Sydney’s Homebush Bay Drive for almost an hour today.
The southbound lanes of the road were closed shortly after 12pm, which led to traffic queues up to 2km. Motorists were urged to avoid the area due to the significant delays.

Emergency services conducted a clean-up operation and the road was reopened at 1pm.
