Canberra police raid tip after tip-off

ACT police discovered 100 kilograms of cannabis after a tip-off led them to raid a Canberra recycling centre on the weekend.

Police found the drug stashed at various locations around the Mitchell Resource Management Centre, where Canberra residents can dispose of household rubbish and deposit goods for recycling.

Police arrested a 55-year-old man who's been charged with possession of a prohibited substance.
