TROUBLING PEDIATRIC CASES IN NSW HOSPITALS:

* Dec 2016 - three-year-old sent home after being treated with Panadol in Wollongong and ends up on life support

* Oct 2016 - three-year-old girl dies at Westmead Hospital, subject to coronial inquiry

* July 2016 - baby dies in Bankstown Hospital

* July 2016 - baby suffers permanent brain damage in Bankstown Hospital

* May 2016 - two-year-old turned away after being misdiagnosed at Blacktown Hospital

* Oct 2013 - six-month-old dies at Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick after a misdiagnosis at Shoalhaven Hospital
