Woman falls off Sydney balcony during Thursday night get-together
A 23-year-old woman is in a serious condition in a Sydney hospital after falling from a third-floor balcony during a party in the city's southwest.
The woman was with a group of friends for an informal get-together about midnight overnight at an apartment block at Cabramatta.
It is believed she had stepped onto the balcony for a cigarette, but friends realised when she did not return that she had fallen off.

The woman remains in a coma, and police say she is in a serious but stable condition.
Police told 9News there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her fall.
