A Sydney bus driver can file a claim for "worst morning ever" after an unfortunate collision with a shiny, high-priced Mercedes in one of the city's wealthiest areas.
At about 8.20 this morning on New South Head Road in Double Bay, a public bus pulled out from a stop and accidentally collided with a silver Mercedes travelling in the same direction.
A passenger told 9NEWS.com.au everybody on the bus had been "thrown forward" by the impact.
The bus driver's reaction can be seen all too clearly in the photo - a classic facepalm.
The passenger said neither driver had left their vehicle for a number of minutes, long enough for everybody on the bus to quietly file off and leave.
A Sydney Transport Authority spokesman said the usual process for on-the-job accidents would be followed after a report was filed by the driver.
