Bumbling, onesie-clad bandits arrested after unsuccessful ATM raid in Geelong
Two onesie-clad bandits have been caught on camera attempting to smash their way into an ATM in a Geelong pub.
The pair allegedly used a sledgehammer to smash their way into the Barking Dog Hotel early this morning.
After repeatedly swinging at the ATM’s side the pair only managed to break apart the computer screen, even after taking a crowbar to the machine.
The pair are then forced to admit defeat and can be seen fleeing the scene.
Unbeknown to the bumbling pair, their efforts went into an ATM that was empty, according to staff.
After fleeing empty-handed the pair were eventually cornered by police after crashing their stolen bike into a traffic barrier.
Both Geelong men have been charged and will appear in court in the coming months.
