Bruce Highway shut in both directions near Marlborough after truck rollover

Queensland’s Bruce Highway is closed in both directions near Marlborough after a truck rollover this morning.

The highway is shut about 14km south of Marlborough while emergency services work to clear the scene.

At least one lane is expected to open about 9.10am local time, Queensland Police said.

The truck driver involved in the accident was not injured but was taken to Rockhampton Hospital as a precaution.

Police have urged motorists to avoid the area and delay travel if possible.
