Teen charged over alleged terror plot targeting Brisbane school

A teenager has been charged by the Australian Federal Police over an alleged plot to target a school in Brisbane's north.
It's understood the teen was attempting to purchase firearms online.
The teenager has been charged by the Queensland Joint Terrorism team with one count of acts done in preparation for, or planning, terrorist acts.

The offence, whether or not the act of terror is committed, carries life imprisonment.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
