Man in serious condition after alleged stabbing in Brisbane

Police are today continuing investigations into an alleged stabbing in Brisbane that left a man wounded.

The incident began at about 7.30pm yesterday when emergency services were called to a property at Heal Street in the inner-northern suburb of New Farm, following reports of a man with a stab wound to the neck.

The 44-year-old local man was taken in a serious but stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

A crime scene was declared at the property and investigations are continuing.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed anything suspicious, or may have any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward and contact authorities.
