Fire destroys home in Logan after four e-scooters spark devastating blaze
A home has been destroyed after four e-scooters sparked a fire in Logan, Brisbane.
Early reports blaming an e-scooter for the fire have been confirmed by authorities, who said four of the devices which were plugged into charge erupted in flames, setting the house alight with them.
Six crews attended the fire which started at 10:20am this morning and had controlled the flames by 11:05am, but the fire had already caused over $400,000 in damage.

The blaze was sparked by four charging e-scooters. 4BC
Four people and eight dogs escaped the house unharmed.
There have now been 31 fires started by lithium-ion battery-powered e-scooters since July 2022.
