Brandis to study diary decision

Attorney-General George Brandis is studying a tribunal decision rejecting his bid to keep his ministerial diary secret.
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal on Tuesday ruled there was "no practical" reason for Senator Brandis to refuse a freedom of information request for the diary by shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus.
Senator Brandis, who will look at the decision before deciding whether to challenge, has told ABC radio the problem with the request is the "breadth" of material wanted.
