Teen, 15, charged over e-bike crash that killed boy, 8, on Sunshine Coast
A 15-year-old boy has been charged over an e-bike crash on Queensland's Sunshine Coast that caused the death of an eight-year-old boy.
Emergency services were called to the bike path near The Kawana Way and Sunshine Motorway interchange at Mountain Creek at about 3.36pm on October 30, after reports two boys riding e-bikes had collided.
One of the riders, an eight-year-old boy, was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition but died later that evening.

Following an investigation, a 15-year-old boy was arrested yesterday.
He has been charged with multiple offences including dangerous driving causing death.
He will appear in children's court on November 26.
