Convicted wife killer's manslaughter sentence appealed
Victoria's Director of Public Prosecutions has appealed the nine-year jail sentence given to convicted wife killer Borce Ristevski.
Kerri Judd QC today announced she had lodged the appeal on the basis the sentence and non-parole period are "manifestly inadequate".
The 55-year-old was charged with murder in 2017 after a lengthy police investigation but pleaded guilty to manslaughter in March after it was ruled murderous intent could not be proved.

One of the key factors in sentencing was that it could not determine whether the offending was in the mid-or upper range.
Ristevski has never revealed how his wife of 27 years died.
Ms Ristevski disappeared from the couple's Avondale Heights home on June 29, 2016.
Her skeletal remains were found dumped in isolated bushland eight months later.
The DPP will take their case to three Court of Appeal judges to try and extend the jail sentence Ristevski is already serving.
