Body found in WA residential fire

A body has been found inside a burnt-out unit in Western Australia's Goldfields region.

Emergency services were called to the property on Devenish Street in Utakarra, a suburb of Geraldton, at 6am on Wednesday.

The body has not yet been formally identified, police said.

Arson Squad officers are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
