Bob Brown's arrest video is incredibly boring

Be warned. This is the most boring video of somebody getting arrested that you'll ever see.

Video posted on Facebook by former Greens leader Bob Brown shows the moment he was arrested in Lapoinya Forest in Tasmania's north yesterday.

The former senator was taken into custody after refusing to leave the site, but the exchange between the arresting officer and himself could not have been more polite.

"I'm going to ask you to come over here to the vehicle and we'll have to go and put you through a process at the police station," the officer says.

"Okay, will do," replies Dr Brown.

"No worries," says the officer.

Dr Brown was protesting the planning logging of the forest, which has not been earmarked as a reserve.

He will face court on March 15.
