Police have declared the notorious “Brothers 4 Life” gang all but finished after three brothers and a woman were arrested over the shooting death of former member Mahmoud Hamzy.

Amanda Crowe has been accused of working as a hit woman for the notorious mob and is expected to be charged with his murder.

The blonde-haired woman hardly seems to fit the picture of a gang member, but police insist she was behind the wheel of a car that delivered assassins to a Revesby home and then collected them after crime figure Hamzy was gunned down last October.

The alleged leader of the gang, Farhad Quami, was also today charged with Hamzy’s murder, along with two of his brothers Mumtaz and Jamil.

Farhad and Mumtaz also face a second count of murder over the death of Joe Antoun who was shot dead as he answered a knock at the door of his Strathfield home last December.

Police facts state a $200,000 contract had been placed on Antoun’s head but haven’t said who put up the money.

The Quami brothers were already in jail before today’s development, charged over a string of shootings in Sydney’s west from mid-last year.

“This is the nail in the coffin of that group,” Detective Superintendent Mick Willing said.

Farhad will defend the charges.
