Bikies alpac'n heat in police raid

A raid on a bikie clubhouse in Sydney's west has uncovered guns, drugs, cash and a stolen brown alpaca named Cleo.

Police Strike Force Raptor on Wednesday morning executed a search warrant at the Gypsy Joker motorcycle gang's Horsley Park clubhouse.

Inside, officers located a loaded .32 calibre revolver, a loaded pistol, about 700 rounds of ammunition and more than 200 tablets - believed to be MDMA.

Cleo, the alpaca, was found in a paddock at the rear of the clubhouse.

She was allegedly stolen from a property in Bringelly in February.

RSPCA officers have taken Cleo for a medical examination and she is expected to be returned to her owners soon, police say.

Police expect to make arrests following an investigation from the gang squad.

The seizure of the items comes during this month's Operation Unification.

It is a joint initiative involving police agencies from across Australia and is focused on getting illicit firearms out of the hands of criminals.
