A Liberal senator has told anyone advocating for a parliamentary inquiry into iron ore prices he has a high school economics textbook for them to read.
Cory Bernardi has labelled as "ridiculous" calls for an inquiry, saying people interested in market economics should start reading.
"If people want to understand the market and the principles of a market economy, I can get a Year Nine economics textbook for them to read," he told Sky News on Tuesday.
