One dead after house fire on NSW north coast
One person has died after a house fire on the NSW north coast this morning.
Emergency services were called to a house on Dillon Close in Bellingen, about 547 km north of Sydney, just after 5am.
When they arrived, they saw a two-story home in flames.

One woman was able to escape the house, but it was revealed a second person was unaccounted for.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze at around 5.40am, but upon a search of the house, a body was found.
It is believed to be of the missing person.
As a result, a crime scene has been established and an investigation into how the fire started is underway.
The body is yet to be identified.
