Fire burns down home next to Baulkham Hills school in northwest Sydney
Students at a public school in northwest Sydney had to take shelter as a major fire consumes a home next door.
The house on Bombardiere Place in Baulkham Hills is "totally involved in fire", Fire and Rescue NSW said in a tweet.

They are not under threat, Fire and Rescue said.
More than 25 firefighters were at the scene to extinguish the blaze.

Aerial footage showed the house's roof had collapsed, and the interior blackened by fire.
All occupants at the house are safe, and there was no impact on the school.
