Bathurst man, 73, arrested for driving while disqualified until 2117
A man accused of driving with a disqualified licence faces the prospect of being barred from getting behind the wheel until 2117 - almost 100 years from now.
The 73-year-old driver was stopped for a random breath test in Bathurst on Sunday morning.
Highway patrol officers allegedly recognised him as being a long-term disqualified driver and checked his identity when they spoke to him.

He was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station, where he was charged with driving while disqualified and received a plate confiscation notice, his third offence in five years.
He was due to appear before Bathurst Local Court today.
