The parents of 17-month-old Ronan Davies have paid tribute to their little boy, as the investigation into the toddler's suspected murder continues.

The Adelaide mother and father have described the toddler as "playful and perfect in every way".

They say they're lost without their happy and cheeky little boy and often still look for him, in denial that he's gone.
