Six-week-old baby girl has been found following alleged abduction

A six-week-old baby girl has been found safe and well following an Amber Alert from Queensland Police.

An urgent public appeal for help was issued last night after police said the newborn was abducted following a domestic violence incident near Brisbane.

At the time police said they feared the girl was at "significant risk".

Just before midnight police tweeted the little girl had been found.

"The six-week-old baby subject to an Amber Alert has been located safe and well. Thank you for sharing."
