Australia's most trusted and distrusted brands
New research released by market research company Roy Morgan has revealed which brands Australians trust the most - and the least.
The data for the September 2024 quarter, released on December 3, saw an airline and three social media websites improve their ranking.

Least trusted 10: TikTok (+1)
TikTok has moved from the ninth least trusted brand to the 10th least trusted brand.
Least trusted 9: X (+1)
Social media website X (formerly known as Twitter) is the ninth most distrusted brand in Australia.
Least trusted 8: Temu (-2)
Temu has become more distrusted, jumping two places from 10th place to eighth place this quarter.
Least trusted 7: News Corp (No change)
The survey ranked publisher News Corp as the seventh most distrusted brand.
Least trusted 6: Telstra (No change)
Telstra's ranking as the sixth most distrusted brand in Australia has remained the same this quarter, according to the research by Roy Morgan.
Least trusted 5: Facebook and Meta (+2)
Facebook and Meta have rounded out the top five.
Least trusted 4: Qantas (+2)
Qantas has been named the fourth most distrusted brand in Australia, jumping two spots from second to fourth.
Least trusted 3: Coles (-1)
Coles is Australia's third most distrusted brand, up one spot from the last quarter.
Least trusted 2: Woolworths (-3)
Woolworths has been named Australia's second most distrusted brand, jumping three places from the previous quarter.
