Thunderstorm warning as wild weather batters parts of Australia
Australians have been told to brace for thunderstorms nearly every day this week, as violent weather continues to batter parts of the country.
The storms are expected to develop across central, eastern, southern and south-eastern Australia today.
Meteorologists at Weatherzone believe the thunderstorms are being driven by abnormally warm seas which are pumping warm and humid air into the atmosphere.

Thunderstorms and showers will move east later this week, while also extending towards the south of WA due to the passage of a cold front.
