Australian honour for Indon navy chief

The former Indonesian navy chief has received an Australian honour.

Retired Admiral Tio Marsetio has been made an honorary appointee in the military division of the Order of Australia by Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.

Dr Marsetio was honoured for his distinguished service to the relationship between Australia and Indonesia as the commander of KRI Nala, deputy chief and chief of naval staff of the Indonesian Navy.
