According to SEEK data, based on the average advertised salaries online, these are the top 20 jobs that easily clear $150,000 - if you can snag one of them.

Business consultant ($163,302)
Sometimes referred to as a "Change Manager", a business consultant specialises in identifying weaknesses, inefficiencies or opportunities for businesses.
In most roles advertised online they clear $160,000 per annum.
Director - Government and Defence ($178,165)
A director, specialising in government and defence, on average clear $170,000 per annum.
These roles would require a large amount of previous experience and a deep understanding of how government and defence works.
Construction Manager ($173,991)
Construction managers deal with all manner of problems - from tight deadlines to building codes to managing trades on site.
On average they clear $170,000 per annum.
Manager - Banking ($152,227)
Managers in the banking and financial services sector on average clear $150,000 a year.
While most think of the classic bank branch manager, roles in this sector can differ widely and many are not customer-facing.
Sales Director ($166,192)

On average, according to SEEK, sales directors take home more than $166k per annum.

Engineering Manager ($175,239)
Managing a team of engineers can be a challenging role - but you'll be paid well for it, making more than $175,000 on average.
Director - Human Resources ($168,166)
HR departments look after all the mechanics of keeping a workforce happy - from payroll to leave to hiring and firing.
Being the director of a human resources department can net you almost $170,000 a year on average.
Actuary - Insurance ($150,866)
If you excelled at mathematics at school you might be cut out to be an actuary - a person who can crunch the numbers of a business to establish risk.
On average, actuaries in the insurance and superannuation sector take home more than $150,000.
