Wig-wearing alleged TV thief charged in Sydney
An alleged bewigged thief is accused of stealing multiple TVs from a hotel in the Sydney CBD.
At about 5am on Wednesday, May 8, police were told a man had entered a hotel on Sussex Street and stolen six televisions while disguised in a wig.
Yesterday, police carried out a search warrant at a home in Blaxland at about 9.30am, where they allegedly seized stolen property and a gel blaster.

A short while later, police stopped a driver in Berkely Vale and arrested him.
A search of the 37-year-old man's vehicle allegedly uncovered clothing, wigs, and illegal drugs.
He has been charged with multiple offences, including disguising himself with the intent to commit a crime.
He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
The investigation continues.
