Handgun, knife allegedly used in overnight robbery at Sydney pub
NSW Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery and attempted robbery at two Sydney pubs overnight.
Police allege two men entered a pub on King Georges Road at Wiley Park with their faces covered while armed with a handgun and knife about 3am today.
The pair allegedly took cash before leaving in a car, which investigators believe was being driven by a third person.

Staff were not injured during the incident.
Earlier that night, police allege that an attempted armed robbery took place at a venue on Slade Road in Bexley North at 2.20am.
The men were unable to enter the venue and left in a car.
Police are trying to establish if the incidents are linked.
