ADFA cadet arrested over alleged assault

An Australian Defence Force Academy cadet has been arrested over the sexual assault of a colleague.
The male officer was arrested by ACT Police on Friday, Defence said in a statement.
It would not comment further as the matter is now before the ACT Magistrates Court.

Police allege the 18-year-old sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman on Saturday as she was sleeping.
He was charged with sexual intercourse without consent.
