Man charged with murder over Christmas Day stabbing of 71-year-old in Adelaide
A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 71-year-old man found stabbed in a quiet retirement village in Adelaide.
9News understands the 45-year-old - of no fixed address - is the son of victim Robert Eldridge.
He had been living on and off with his father for months.

Emergency services were called to the house in Braes Close in Reynella East in the city's south at 9.40pm on Christmas Day.

Shocked neighbours paid tribute to Eldridge.
"He'd do anything for anybody and he drove the bus here - he'd take the shoppers out," one said.

The younger man was refused bail and will appear in Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
