A manhunt is underway after an Adelaide father was struck outside his home in an alleged hit and run.

Father-of-two Matt Astrauskas, 27, has undergone surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital following the alleged crash at Parafield Gardens about 11pm on Saturday.
