Mark Collins and Stephen Foster served our country with pride - risking their lives to protect ours.

Decades on, the two former soldiers never imagined they would be homeless.

Sadly, veterans are three times more likely to experience homelessness than the general population.

Now the federal government's $30 million Veterans' Acute Housing Program is providing a way for them and dozens of other ex-service people to rebuild their lives.
