Statement from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command
Officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command are working around the clock to combat anti-social behaviour in the area and prevent offences through high-visibility patrols, targeted operations and engagement with schools and local community groups.
Everyone in our community deserves to feel safe.
Police take these offences seriously, and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, regardless of the age of those involved.
In October, police seized 22 e-bikes during a one-day operation across Southern Sydney and the Illawarra, including 10 e-bikes in the Cronulla area. These types of operation will continue.
The message is clear. Police will continue to target offenders through proactive patrols and operations, and those who choose to engage in this type of behaviour will be arrested and face the consequences of their actions.
Anyone who may witness anti-social behaviour is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
