Burial win for families wanting to be laid to rest in closed cemetery

Families fighting for the right to be buried in pre-purchased plots beside loved ones at a closed Perth cemetery have a had a win.

The City of Rockingham have moved forward with plans to amend an order which prevents people from being laid to rest without a valid lease.

It's a small step in what's been a stressful and traumatic time for families.
