The mother of a toddler who died in 2005 has spoken out about a decades-long investigation and two trials.

Jordan Thompson was found face down in the bath by his mother, Bernice.

Bernice left her child in the care of her boyfriend, Cecil Patrick Kennedy, while she went to the shops.

The mother of a toddler who died in 2005 has spoken out after a decades-long investigation and two trials.  A Current Affair

He was charged with involuntary manslaughter after a toxicology report found an antidepressant in the child's system.

However, two juries were unable to reach a verdict on the case, and the director of public prosecution recently decided not to proceed with a third trial.

Tonight, his mother, who is still desperate for closure, has spoken out about getting justice for Jordan.
