Ibrahim Helmy is the alleged mastermind of a multimillion-dollar bribery scandal.

It is alleged the project engineer favoured nine companies who were paid a staggering sum for work with Transport for NSW in return for kickbacks involving cash, gold and crypto currency.

The NSW Anti-Corruption Inquiry started in July but Helmy never showed up.
