How an 'average' Black Hawk pilot dodged death on multiple occasions
As a Black Hawk pilot, Sergeant Rod Henderson has stared death in the face more times than anyone should.
His time in the Australian Army took its toll physically, but it's the mental scars that have been harder to heal.
In hopes of helping other veterans, Henderson put pen to paper in a memoir, to outline what life was like as an "average soldier".
