The transition seems inevitable and Norway is leading the way, reportedly with the biggest uptake of EVs in the world.
Commonwealth Bank's general manager of personal lending Joel Larsen says Australians are also showing a lot of interest.

"We've seen a very big increase in the amount of customers buying electric and hybrid vehicles and that now represents just over a quarter of all the loans we're writing for new cars," Larsen said.
Australian banks are even incentivising those who choose to cross to the electric side.
But with a lack of public charging infrastructure, how much do you actually save?
