Following an investigation by A Current Affair into the professional conduct of a celebrity cosmetic surgeon the doctor has been reprimanded by the national health regulator.

The Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) has barred Dr Daniel Aronov from performing all forms of cosmetic surgery in Australia after a number of his patients spoke out about their horrific experiences.

"The fact that Ahpra has been incentivised to actually do something after years of complaints, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It's surreal to me', Aronov patient Jackie told A Current Affair.

Another patient, also named Jackie said she was left with pain and a lump in her chin following a facelift procedure by Aronov who shared a video of her surgery on TikTok.

She reached out to ACA after watching last week's story.

"He's in the middle of surgery and he is stopping, checking the video, then saying no I don't want that, cut that out, do it again," Jackie alleged.
