Couple claims they've been wrongly put on top secret police watch list

Jarrod and Kathleen Davies say they're just an average middle-aged couple, but they claim they're victims of a personal vendetta that has triggered a lawsuit against the NSW state government.

Jarrod claims a run-in with his former stepmother is behind dozens of police visits and drive-bys at their home in Revesby, south-west Sydney.

The couple's explosive statement of claim outlines how Jarrod was stripped of his firearms licence, and how the couple was placed on a classified NSW Police intelligence watchlist alongside hardened criminals and potential terrorists.

"To just sit here and tell someone like yourself about what's happened to us for the very first time, we feel like we're nuts telling you," Kathleen told A Current Affair.

Mr and Mrs Davies claim they were placed on the list by the NSW Police State Intelligence Command, where they said a former family member serves.

However, a nasty feud has sparked explosive claims of payback that the NSW Supreme Court will hear.
