A 69-year-old woman has been allegedly carjacked and beaten up outside of a COVID-19 testing clinic in Perth.

Kathy lost two of her teeth, had her shoulder dislocated and suffered bruising throughout her body.

"She's telling me she wanted to kill me. She kept yelling at me 'I'm going to kill you', and I'd done nothing wrong. I'd gone there for the test," Kathy said in an emotional interview with 6PR radio.

Kathy had gone to the clinic to get a day 12 COVID-19 test after her self-quarantine ended.

"[The] next thing my car door was opened and I turned around and there was a woman standing there with my car keys," she said.

"She told me she was going to kill me she pulled the chains around my neck and dragged me onto the ground."

Kathy, who is a great-grandmother, spent a night in hospital and was released on Sunday after also testing negative.

But despite her trauma she still faced the agonising wait for the final three hours of her quarantine before she could be comforted.
