9News Unmasked: Our Christmas holiday plans

Livinia Nixon and I were joined by our newsroom colleague Clint Stanaway on this week's episode of Nine News Unmasked, our last. Clint, who was there while Tony Jones took leave, confided that he was feeling a little nervous in case we ganged up on him. We certainly did not, but he did face a barrage of questions from Livinia. We both did in fact.

Clint's first time in the hot seat was most entertaining indeed. He shared his experience of flying to Sydney during the Covid months on a news assignment – such luxury, while Livinia's most recent plane flight was also to Sydney, in February, and by the sound of it, she had a wonderful time. Then came lockdown back in Melbourne.

We thought about the last time we used coins for anything… it was probably a car wash, and how wonderful that car washes are open again! Who knew that washing a car by hand takes so long and is so tiring!

There was talk of playing comp... Clint boasting of his prowess at mixed netball, and Livinia shared her netball experience during a celebrity tournament – absolutely hilarious!

Needless to say our Christmas holiday plans were discussed, and the laughter showed how lucky we are; great friends and not just colleagues! Thank you for your time, I hope you will check out the episode, our last together. Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2021 - compliments of the season!

Best regards,
