Murder Rates

Consequently, presenters and producers are often heard uttering the phrase that they'd "kill for good ratings". Of course, here in Australia it's only a saying. But the same doesn't seem to be the case in Brazil. There, a TV host saw that his audience increased whenever he reported gruesome crime stories. So what did he do? Well, the accusation is he started arranging and ordering murders so he could film them for his show. Worse still, it worked – his program became an enormous success. Karl Stefanovic travelled to one of the most dangerous regions of Brazil for one of the strangest stories he's ever told.
