Young skier takes a tumble

A Californian skier has shared footage of a hilarious tumble she took while hitting the slopes at the end of the US ski season.

Magnolia Neu, 16, was skiing at California's Balls Mountain Range over the Easter weekend when she went ragdolling down a hill after launching off a rock.

The competitive young skier had jokingly captioned a video of her fall on Instagram: "Qualified for the Olympics today... In gymnastics."

Luckily, she didn't seriously injure herself as she went cartwheeling through the snow.

"I'm pretty sore now," she said. "No broken bones."

"I'm fine. It was hella fun."

The video has been viewed more than 35,000 times since being uploaded on Saturday.
