Woman filmed brazenly watching Masterchef and drinking tea while driving

A woman in the UK has been filmed brazenly watching television and drinking a cup of tea while driving.

Annoyed motorist Luke Page, who recorded the incident, provides a running commentary of what he sees while travelling behind a Ford Fiesta on the A127, a major road that links London and Essex.

In the video he expresses his disbelief after seeing the woman driver watching Masterchef on a tablet computer mounted to her windscreen.

"She has got two pieces of technology attached to the front of her car – a phone and a tablet - and she currently watching TV while she’s driving," Mr Page says in the video, which was uploaded to YouTube.

Once the traffic comes to a stand-still, Mr Page gets out of his car and confronts the woman.

As he approaches her car, she rolls down the window.

"Are you watching TV?" Mr Page asks.

The woman denies she is watching television, but Mr Page then continues by saying: "It looks like you’re watching TV. You know that’s illegal, don’t you?"

The woman then winds her window back up and Mr Ford storms back to his car.

While many on social media have commended Mr Page for shaming the motorist, he has also come under fire for illegally filming it while driving himself.

Essex Police have not commented on the video.
